Yes, Disney MagicBands do work at the Oceaneer’s Club on Disney Cruise Line. MagicBands, sometimes referred to as DisneyBands, can be used by kids for check in and check out at the kids club, just like the standard bands Disney provides.
The most important thing to remember is to keep the MagicBand charged. Cast Members will check the battery level when your child arrives at the Oceaneer’s Club. If the band is not charged, they will issue a temporary kids club band instead. Charging overnight is usually the easiest solution. Many families bring a small USB hub so they can charge phones, MagicBands, and other devices at the same time in the stateroom.
This is one of the main reasons families choose MagicBand Plus for their cruise. Some kids really dislike wearing the standard kids club band for the entire sailing. Using their own MagicBand feels more familiar and comfortable, especially for kids who already use them at the parks.
