How cold does it get in the Disney Cruise Line theaters?

Disney Cruise Line theaters are known for being cold, colder than many guests expect. Even people who normally tolerate air conditioning well often comment on how chilly it feels once the show gets underway.

Many experienced cruisers recommend wearing long pants and bringing a sweatshirt, light jacket, or hoodie specifically for the shows. The temperature can feel especially cold if you are coming straight from the pool deck or wearing lighter evening clothes.

The dining rooms, by comparison, are usually much more comfortable. Most guests find the main dining rooms to be fine in typical dinner attire without needing extra layers. It is the theaters where the air conditioning is noticeably stronger.

If you plan to attend shows, which are a highlight of a Disney Cruise, it is a good idea to plan an extra layer into your evening routine. Even if you do not end up needing it, having it with you can make the experience much more comfortable.
