How Long Is the Aquaduck Ride on the Disney Dream?

The Aquaduck is one of the most talked about attractions on the Disney Dream. This elevated water coaster sends you gliding high above the top deck in a clear tube that even extends out over the edge of the ship. From the pool deck you climb the stairs to the entrance, then continue up a long winding staircase that wraps around and through the ship’s funnel before reaching the loading platform.

Once at the top, you settle into a two person raft and the ride begins. The total ride time is just under one minute, but it packs in plenty of fun. The first drop sends you sweeping out over the side of the ship in a tight turn with incredible ocean views. From there you cruise through straightaways and gentle dips before entering the final enclosed and dark section. Riding at dusk adds an extra thrill as the lights glow against the evening sky.

While the ride itself is short, the wait time can vary quite a bit. On our sailings, posted waits ranged from about 10 minutes to well over an hour depending on the day and time. The shortest lines are often during embarkation afternoon, typically between noon and 2 pm when many guests are still exploring the ship or enjoying lunch.

Port days can also offer shorter waits if you choose to stay onboard, though this is not always the case. At ports that many guests skip, such as Nassau, the ship can feel just as busy as a sea day.
