Does the drink package cover mini bar items?
It is also worth noting that your drink package does not cover minibar items. Even if you have a beverage package, it only applies to drinks ordered at bars, restaurants and lounges around the ship. Anything taken from the minibar after the initial setup will come with a charge.
If you do not plan to use the minibar beyond the first round, you can ask your room steward not to restock it. Many guests do this and then use the minibar as a small refrigerator for personal items. This is a simple way to avoid unexpected charges while still getting some use out of the space.
