Your Princess Cruises Medallion is an exciting part of your cruise experience. Most guests receive it in the mail about a week before their cruise. Some people report getting theirs as early as 10 days before departure while others receive it closer to 5 to 7 days out. Timing can vary, but it generally arrives within that window.
Princess will charge your card $10 for the shipment around 10 days before your cruise. You will also get an email letting you know the Medallion is on its way. The package does not include a tracking number. If you want tracking, you can call Princess directly and they can provide it for you. Guests with Princess Plus or Princess Premier receive their Medallion for free, so there is no shipping charge.
If your Medallion does not arrive in time, it is not a problem. Princess can easily remake one for you at the port or even while you are already on the cruise. The replacement will match the original design, including any engraving you selected.
Some travelers have had success asking Princess to request a refund of the $10 shipping fee if they ended up purchasing a package onboard, although this is not guaranteed.
Once you have your Medallion, you qualify for the Green Lane at embarkation. Ports clearly separate Green Lane for guests who have their Medallion and Blue Lane for guests who don’t.
The Medallion is meant to make your trip smoother from the moment you arrive at the port. Whether it comes early or you pick it up at embarkation, you will be fully set for your Princess cruise.
